Downton Abbey led the Golden Globe for television awards

Nominations of the 69th U.S. Film and Television Golden Globe were announced on local time Jan 14th. In the TV class award, PBS public television network drama Downton Abbey seasons 1-2 got the Best Miniseries or Television Film and other three nominations. It has got the most nominations and become the biggest winner. In this year's Golden Globe, the new dramas become the up-rising stars. Several new dramas in 2011 got the dominations, including Homeland, New Girl, Enlightened and American Horror Story dvd box set. It is worth mentioning that the renowned Musical Glee by Fox television network last year only short-listed the best Comedy or Musical TV series
