Eu m-am inscris la American Experience (era sa nu mai gasasc locuri...am avut ceva noroc :) ); ei au avut un program cu joburi in cazinouri - 4 locatii in Atlantic City si inca un cazino intr-un orasel din Nevada (cred ca o sa innebunesc daca imi vine contract pt ala)...oricum locuri nu mai sunt de mult, a fost cva job shop etc. Alte firme nu prea au mai avut joburi acolo..cel putin nu in februarie cand m-am hotarat eu sa merg. Totusi, cred ca work adventure si palmer consult (problema cu astia e ca nu au birou in CJ deci imi era cam greu sa ma inscriu la ei) mai aveau ceva joburi acolo. Oferta de joburi la AE era destul de variata (cam orice poti lucra in cazino, hotel, restaurant), de la front desk agent si security agent, la server, retail agent si housekeeper. In privinta celui de al 2-lea job, e important sa ajungem cat mai repede acolo si...sa avem noroc ;).

Depinde de cat de mult esti obisnuita sa dormi si cat rezisti la multe ore de lucru. Daca dormi putin, atunci o sa poti sa lucrezi mai multe ore. Si noi, fiind tineri, rezistam la un efort sustinut de 2-3 luni. Ca daca ar fi pe termen mai lung, nu cred ca ar vrea nimeni sa se chinuie chiar asa.
Acuma, eu nu am putut sa fac fata la mai mult de 2 job-uri (8 ore la primul si cam 6-7 ore la al doilea), unul dimineata si unul seara si la fiecare cate o jumatate de zi libera. Adica, pe saptamana, 2 jumatati de zi libere (pt ca, de obicei, cele doua jumatati nu se nimeresc in aceeasi zi). De obicei te obisnuiesti cu ritmul asta si nici nu-ti dai seama cand trec zilele, desi poate o sa ajungi sa dormi in unele nopti poate doar 5-6 ore. Ajuta mult daca lucrezi la un restaurant / fast-food ca macar mananci o masa serioasa in timpul zilei. Si apoi poate mai mananci una acasa.
Am auzit ca cei care se duc in Alaska la peste tb sa prelucreze pestele atunci cand vine incarcatura de peste (si daca vine cand dormi, tb sa te trezesti). Acuma nu stiu daca e chiar adevarat, daca stie cineva altfel, sa zica...
