Eu ma duc pe 30 iunie la Ocean Rolling Chairs. Daca ma poate ajuta cineva cu ceva informatii despre cazare sau locul de munca. In contract mi se zicea ca o sa am cazare asigurata si am tot incercat sa scriu un mail angajatorului dar era un mail gresit. Am sunat pana la urma in state si mi-a raspuns managerul si mi-a zis ca defapt nu ii asigurata cazarea si ca trebuie sa imi caut eu.

Eu am fost in A.C. in urma cu 2 ani. A fost ok acolo, insa nu e usor deloc. E o locatie in care merg foarte multi studenti (polonezi, rusi, romani, moldoveni, sarbi), multi din ei sunt acolo inca din ultimele zile ale lunii mai. De aceea nu e foarte usor de gasit un job la sfarsit de iunie, dar nu e imposibil. Cazinourile in general isi recruteaza la job fair cu cateva luni inainte tot personalul de care au nevoie si mai rar poti gasi ceva la ei, insamai sunt o multime de baruri, restaurante, magazine etc.
In privinta cazarii, se gasesc multe variante, terbuie doar sa fii un pic descurcaret. Noi ne-am cazat initial la un hotel/motel (Burgundy Inn, sau ceva in genul asta), destul de ieftin (a platit pentru o sapt intreaga si am avut tarif preferential) si pozitionat super central (aproape de Resorts si Taj Mahal). In saptamana respectiva ne-am cautat chirie si am gasit fara nici un fel de probleme (erau insa studenti care au stat la motelul respectiv toata vara). Ne-am plimbat cateva ore, am vazut o multime de anunturi pe gard sau in geam, am vorbit la telefon cu proprietarii, am negociat si a doua zi ne puteam muta. Sfatul meu ar fi sa va cautati cazare in partea de sud a orasului, spre Ventnor (sau chiar in Ventnor), pentru ca e o zona mult mai buna si nu risti sa ai probleme cu persoane mai dubioase.
